What is a relapse?

In this film an MSer, an MS Expert and a GP will discuss what a relapse is, highlighting the key things to help understand your MS and relapses.

 

 

So to recap, an MS Relapse occurs when:
 

• An old symptom of MS has become worse, or new symptoms have appeared.

 

• Symptoms have occurred at least 30 days after the last relapse.

 

• There is no other reason for the symptoms, such as an infection.

 

• Symptoms have lasted at least 24hrs.
